Thanatos

Thanatos, the death instinct, god of death, is usually thought of as the grim reaper in our culture, though traditionally is portrayed as a man in black, with a wreath of poppies around his neck. I decided to portray Thanatos as a woman, because I think of death as a more cyclical, quiet, mother nature sort of entity. Blue hair, because blue is a mourning color in many cultures. To me death seems like it would come as a sort of opioid eternal slumber.
